Welcome to GBA online.

GBA online is the web version of 'Guide to bryophytes of sub-Saharan Africa'. Publishing online allows us to keep the family and genus treatments up to date, makes information available immediately, and allows additional information to be linked, such as species keys. Initially, only moss treatments are being made available.

The Introduction gives some background to the project, and Contributors provides information for contributors. Family key is obviously the key to families, and the Glossary is provided by Missouri Botanic Garden. Authors lists all authors involved with GBA and for what families they have responsibility, and Fam+Gen lists the genera in each family, and Gen+Fam gives the family for each genus.sLiterature will contain literature of general interest, and the 'To do' list shows what changes are still outstanding.

The original text, as PDF files, is available via a link at the end of each treatment, but at present, not all illustrations have been included in the PDF files.
