Tuesday hill sessions
Location: Low Cross Wood Lane opposite the College Road entrance to Sydenham Hill station.
Time: 7pm on Tuesdays in September.
Details: Please do a 5-10 mins gentle jog before arrival. At 7pm we will do a warm-up and drills, followed by the main session, finishing by 7.45 to 7.50pm. Arrive ready to run. It should be safe to leave jackets and water bottles etc. We will be running up an down a well-lit traffic free path, but please remember to keep enough room for pedestrians to pass.
The exact session will vary from week to week. Expect a series of reps with a variety of gradients, intensities and lengths. These should make you faster and stronger, help leg strength, co-ordination and technique ahead of the cross country season.
To make the most of the sessions you should be regularly running several times a week. If returning from injury or illness feel free to build up gradually by taking linger breaks or doing some easy running part way through the session.
