We have an overall Club Championship covering road, track and cross-country distances from 1 mile to 26.2 miles alongside a separate Cross-Country Club Championship. 

2018/19 Ken Crooke Cross-Country Club Championships

The Cross-Country Championships are named in memory of Ken Crooke, a former Dulwich Runner. The Club Championships consist of runners' best 5 performances in the following 8 races, with a minimum of 3 performances from the Surrey League for men, and 2 for ladies given the short notice change of the January fixture to March 2019.

  2. Surrey League Race 2, 10th November 2018 - Ladies - Nonsuch Park, Cheam; Men - Nork Park (Banstead)

  3. London Championships, 17th November 2018 - Men’s and Women’s Races - Parliament Hill, London

  4. South of Thames 7.5 Mile, 15th December 2018 - Mixed Race - Beckenham Place Park

  5. Surrey League Race 3, 13th January 2019 - Men - Mitcham Common / 9th February 2019 - Women - Richmond Park (Kingston end)

  6. Southern Championships, 26th January 2019 - Men’s and Women’s Races - Parliament Hill, London

  7. Surrey League Race 4, 9th February 2019 - Men - Lloyd Park, Croydon / 2nd March 2019 - Ladies - Lloyd Park, Croydon

  8. Riddlesdown Parkrun (16th March 2019)

2019 Club Championships

The Club Championships provides runners with an opportunity to race across multiple terrains (road, track and cross-country) and distances (1 mile to 26.2 miles) with races spread throughout the year. Members do not have to complete all events to take part, with each runners' best five performances (including a minimum of one long and one short race) are taken forward to the final scores, with awards at the Christmas Party for the following:

  • Age Graded

  • Women's Categories at Senior, V40,V50 and V60

  • Men's Categories at Senior, V40, V50 and V60

  • Captain's Awards

2019 RACES

The nine club championship races for 2019 have now been agreed (four long, five short) with four dates to be confirmed. To complete and qualify for the champs you must run at least 5 events, including at least one from each distance category.

  9. 3 November tbc - Regent’s Park 10k - SHORT (Note change of date from October to avoid a fixture clash)
